Rupert Trembath
Senior & Lead Veterinarian (BVSc)
A Katherine local, I graduated from JCU in 2017 and my passions are mostly in large animal Medicine/Reproduction and Surgery as well as Small animal Orthopaedic Surgery, and of course, fishing.
Providing top quality care to patients is the goal I/we strive for. Whether it be out of the back of my car at a remote cattle station, or in town at the clinic. Doing the best we can and trying our hardest is what’s important.

Peter Trembarth
Senior Veterinarian (BVSc 1st class hons)
Having been vet since 1980, I have become good at most things but not the best at everything. Honest and direct face to face communication with clients is important and I strive for myself and the team to achieve positive, predictable results at KVCC. Treating animals to give good value and ethical outcomes for the final and owner is a high priority. As a team we are willing to tackle most problems and do our best to get results.

Amy Harding - Trembath
Senior Clinic Veterinarian (BVSc)
I grew up on a cattle station on the Sturt Plateau where I had a wonderful childhood! I went to boarding school in Adelaide and then on to study at the University of Queensland.
After Uni, I spent some time working in New Zealand with dairy cattle and loved it, gaining a passion for large animal surgery and medicine. I moved back to the Territory to settle in Katherine and I am thankful for the great team and wide variety of animals I get to work with.
Outside of work, I am working on the farm with my husband and son, playing sport and making time for adventures when I can!

Ayden Doumtsis
Veterinarian (BVSc)
Originally from Victoria, I have since spent the past five years in Townsville. Where I graduated from James Cook University in 2022.
As a new graduate, I aim to hit the work force with an eagerness to develop the skills I have acquired, whilst continuing to learn and gain competency in the profession.
Being able to work from my car and service animals, both large and small is the goal, providing veterinary care to Katherine residents and the greater rural community.
The hands on lifestyle suits me to a tee as I love to explore the great outdoors, whether it be with camera or fishing rod in hand.

Rachel Hens
Veterinarian (BVSc)
Originally from coastal NSW, I competed my degree at James Cook University in 2023, but decided I was made for the NT life after visiting as a kid.
I knew I wanted to be a vet while looking at poorer conditioned cattle in a small community in Tanzania. I feel vet offers me the perfect opportunity to simultaneously aid both human and animal health and welfare. I’d love to take my work back over there one day.
I’m super keen to be working with the KVCC team this year! If you don’t find me in the clinic I’m probably out looking for crocs.

Keeley Robinson
Veterinary Nurse
I was born in Newcastle NSW and moved from state to state with my family who were members of the Air Force.
We settled on the Gold Coast for 13 years where I attended School and completed my Certificate in Animal Care at TAFE
I have recently relocated to Katherine and am currently studying my Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing.
I have always been passionate about animals of all shapes and sizes and if I'm not at the clinic I'm probably chasing 12-month-old Aussie Shepherd.
